Bendigo and Adelaide Bank extend COVID-19 assistance package

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank have unveiled an additional support program for its small businesses and mortgage clients who are affected by recent COVID-19 restrictions across the country.

The new support program includes a three-month deferral of payment and an extension of loan terms for small businesses. Customers who request it must be up-to-date with their refunds or have a refund program in place. Those with asset or overdraft financing products will be assessed based on their personal circumstances.

The package also includes reimbursement of merchant terminal fees for up to three months, waivers of fees and notice periods on cash deposits up to three months, and specialized targeted support for large business customers.

A range of support measures is also available for mortgage customers, including a monthly deferral of repayment.

The package is an extension of the bank’s existing hardship support measures that are already available to customers affected by the pandemic.

“We continue to support any customer affected by the unpredictable nature of this pandemic with dedicated support, based on their individual circumstances, as we have done throughout this difficult time in history,” said Marnie Baker , Managing Director of Bendigo and Adelaide. Bank.

Baker encourages affected customers to contact the bank to discuss the various support options available.
